Attractions

Dining out

The majority of restaurants are located downtown, a ten-minute drive from the B&B. Most serve dinner only until 9 or 10 p.m., but a few are open till midnight or 1:00. One franchise sandwich-and-coffee restaurant (Tim Horton's) is open 24 hours a day. Various Chinese and pizza restaurants offer home delivery. Please ask Curtis or Roseanna for directions and recommendations.

A modest convenience store called Goodies Gas, open 24 hours daily, is one short block away on Wann Road. It also sells gasoline. A small mini mall is located across the street, providing dining facilities, pool & billiards, video store and convenience store. Larger downtown supermarkets are open till 7 or 10 p.m. For non-food shopping, some small Main Street stores are open late into the summer evening. The excellent Mac's Fireweed bookstore is open till midnight.

Northern Lights

A major attraction for visitors coming to the Yukon during the late fall and winter months. To see the current forecast for Norther lights click here.
